Open the Google app or Google Chrome
Tap the Lens icon (or the Google Lens button)
Point your camera at the item you want to identify
Tap the screen to focus (if prompted)
Review the results shown on screen
Tap a result to open more details or related links
To use an image from your device, tap the image/gallery icon and select a photo
To search text in an image, select Text (if available) and copy or translate
To translate text, select Translate (if available) and choose the target language
To search for similar items, use the shopping/visual results shown
To scan a barcode or QR code, point the camera at it and tap the result
To turn on flashlight, enable it from the Lens interface (if available)
To save or share results, use the share/save options in the results screen
