Wash your hands
Gently blow your nose
Shake the spray bottle if the label says to do so
Remove the cap
Prime the spray if it is new or has not been used for a while
Keep your head upright or slightly tilted forward
Close one nostril with a finger
Insert the nozzle into the other nostril
Aim the nozzle slightly outward, away from the center of the nose
Breathe in gently through your nose while pressing the spray
Do not sniff hard
Repeat in the other nostril if directed
Wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue
Replace the cap
Do not share the spray with others
Use only as directed on the label or by your doctor
Do not use more often than recommended
Stop using and seek medical advice if irritation or side effects occur
