Download and install OBS Studio from the official website
Open OBS Studio
Set up a scene
Add sources to the scene
Choose a display capture for your screen
Choose a window capture for a specific app
Choose a video capture device for a webcam
Adjust source position and size
Open Settings
Set your video resolution and frame rate
Set your audio input and output devices
Set your streaming service and stream key if streaming
Set your recording format and save location if recording
Test your microphone and video levels
Click Start Streaming to go live
Click Start Recording to save a local video
Use the Controls panel to stop streaming or recording
Use the Audio Mixer to adjust volume levels
Use Studio Mode to preview changes before switching live
Add transitions between scenes
Save your profile and scene collection
Review recordings and adjust settings as needed
