Download and install OBS Studio
Open OBS Studio
Add a source by clicking the plus button in the Sources box
Choose a source type such as Display Capture, Window Capture, Game Capture, Video Capture Device, or Image
Select the screen, window, game, or device you want to capture
Adjust the source size and position in the preview area
Add audio sources if needed, such as microphone and desktop audio
Check the audio mixer to confirm sound levels
Open Settings to configure video, audio, output, and hotkeys
Set your resolution and frame rate in the Video settings
Set your recording format and quality in the Output settings
Set your streaming service and stream key if you want to stream
Click Start Recording to record locally
Click Start Streaming to go live
Click Studio Mode if you want to preview changes before switching scenes
Use the Scene box to create and switch between different layouts
Click Stop Recording or Stop Streaming when finished
Save and review your recordings from the output folder
Test your setup before recording or streaming live
