Measure the rice with the cup provided or a standard measuring cup
Rinse the rice until the water runs mostly clear
Add the rice to the inner pot
Add the correct amount of water for the type of rice
Place the inner pot into the rice cooker
Close the lid securely
Plug in the rice cooker
Select the appropriate cooking setting if available
Press the cook button or switch it to cook
Wait until the cooker switches to warm or the cycle ends
Let the rice rest for a few minutes after cooking
Open the lid carefully
Fluff the rice with a rice paddle or fork
Serve the rice
Unplug the rice cooker after use
Remove and wash the inner pot, lid, and accessories
Wipe the outside of the rice cooker with a damp cloth
