Open Snipping Tool from the Start menu or use Windows key + Shift + S
Choose a snip mode: Rectangular, Freeform, Window, or Full-screen
Select the area or window you want to capture
Release the mouse to take the screenshot
Click the notification to open the snip in Snipping Tool
Use the toolbar to crop, draw, highlight, or erase
Click Save to store the screenshot
Click Copy to copy the snip to the clipboard
Click Share to send the screenshot through available apps
Use the Delay option if you need a timed screenshot
