Download Windows installation media from Microsoft
Create a bootable USB drive
Insert the USB drive into the PC
Restart the PC
Enter BIOS or boot menu
Select the USB drive as the boot device
Choose language, time, and keyboard settings
Click Install now
Enter product key or choose I don’t have a product key
Select the Windows edition
Accept the license terms
Choose Custom install
Select the drive or partition for Windows
Format or delete partitions if needed
Start the installation
Wait for Windows to copy files and restart
Complete the first-time setup
Connect to Wi-Fi or network
Sign in with a Microsoft account or local account
Set privacy and device preferences
Install drivers and Windows updates
Reinstall apps and restore files
