Open the Snipping Tool from the Start menu
Select one of these snip types: Rectangular, Free-form, Window, or Full-screen
Click New
If using Rectangular or Free-form: drag or draw to select the area to capture
If using Window: click the window you want to capture
If using Full-screen: the full screen capture starts automatically
Review the snip in the Snipping Tool window
Use the pen/highlighter/eraser tools if needed
Save the snip: select Save As (or Save) and choose a location and file name
Copy the snip: select Copy
Share the snip: select Share (if available)
Exit Snipping Tool when finished
