Press PrtScn to copy the full screen to the clipboard
Press Alt + PrtScn to copy the active window to the clipboard
Press Windows key + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot automatically
Press Windows key + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool and select an area
Open Paint or another app and paste with Ctrl + V if the screenshot was copied to the clipboard
Use the Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch app to capture a custom area, window, or full screen
On some laptops, press Fn + PrtScn if the PrtScn key requires Fn
Check the Pictures > Screenshots folder for saved screenshots taken with Windows key + PrtScn
