Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top
Tap Payment & Shipping
Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted
Tap the payment method you want to verify
Check that the billing name, billing address, card number, expiration date, and security code are correct
If needed, update any incorrect payment details
Make sure the card is not expired and has sufficient funds or credit
Confirm the card is enabled for online and in-app purchases
If Apple asks for verification, follow the on-screen steps
Contact your bank or card issuer if the verification fails
Remove the payment method and add it again if needed
