How To Wash A Backpack?

Empty all pockets and compartments

Shake out dirt and debris

Check the care label and manufacturer instructions

Remove detachable parts, straps, and inserts if possible

Close all zippers, buckles, and Velcro

Spot clean stains with mild soap and a soft brush

Fill a basin or tub with lukewarm water and mild detergent

Submerge the backpack if the care label allows it

Gently scrub the fabric, seams, and straps

Rinse thoroughly with clean water

Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals

Do not put the backpack in a dryer unless the label says it is safe

Press out excess water with a towel

Air dry the backpack completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area

Make sure all pockets and padding are fully dry before use
