Check the care label
Empty all pockets
Zip up all zippers and fasten all closures
Turn the jacket inside out
Use a front-loading washing machine if possible
Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water
Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent
Do not use bleach or fabric softener
Wash the jacket alone or with similar lightweight items
Run an extra rinse cycle if needed
Remove the jacket promptly after washing
Gently press out excess water
Tumble dry on low heat with clean tennis balls or dryer balls
Break up clumps by hand during drying
Continue drying until completely dry
Air dry fully if needed after tumble drying
Store the jacket only when completely dry
