Fill a basin with cool water and a small amount of gentle detergent
Submerge the hat if the material allows
Gently swish and avoid scrubbing
Rinse thoroughly with cool water
Press out excess water with a clean towel
Reshape the hat
Air dry away from direct heat and sunlight
Do not use a dryer unless the care label says it is safe
