Check the care label first
Turn the garment inside out
Use cold or lukewarm water
Use a wool-safe or mild detergent
Hand wash gently or use a delicate wool cycle
Avoid bleach and fabric softener
Do not wring or twist the fabric
Rinse thoroughly with cool water
Press out excess water with a towel
Reshape the garment while damp
Lay flat to dry
Keep away from direct heat and sunlight
Do not tumble dry unless the label says it is safe
Store clean and fully dry
