Shake out loose dirt and debris
Check the care label and manufacturer instructions
Remove detachable parts such as frames, straps, or inserts if possible
Brush off dried mud and dust with a soft brush
Vacuum the interior and seams
Spot clean stains with mild soap and warm water
Fill a basin or tub with lukewarm water and a small amount of gentle detergent
Submerge the rucksack if the care label allows it
Gently scrub the exterior, straps, and lining with a soft cloth or sponge
Clean zippers, buckles, and seams carefully
Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Press out excess water without wringing
Hang to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area
Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources
Ensure the rucksack is completely dry before storing or using it again
