Check the care label on the pillow
Remove pillowcases and pillow protectors
Inspect for tears or loose seams
Wash two pillows at a time to balance the load
Use a gentle cycle with warm or cold water
Use a small amount of mild detergent
Add an extra rinse cycle if needed
Avoid bleach unless the care label allows it
Dry on low heat or air dry completely
Add dryer balls or clean tennis balls to help fluff the pillows
Stop and fluff the pillows during drying if needed
Make sure the pillows are fully dry before use
