Remove laces and insoles
Brush off loose dirt and debris
Place shoes in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase
Wash laces separately in a laundry bag
Add towels to balance the load and reduce noise
Use cold water and a gentle cycle
Use mild detergent
Do not use bleach
Do not use fabric softener
Skip the spin cycle if possible or use low spin
Remove shoes immediately after washing
Stuff shoes with paper towels or dry cloths to help retain shape
Air dry completely
Do not use a dryer
Reinsert insoles and laces after fully dry
