Remove the laces and insoles
Brush off loose dirt and debris
Place the sneakers in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase
Add towels to balance the load and reduce noise
Use cold water
Select a gentle or delicate cycle
Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent
Avoid bleach unless the care label allows it
Wash the laces separately in the same load or by hand
Air dry the sneakers completely
Stuff the shoes with paper towels or clean cloth to help retain shape
Keep them away from direct heat or sunlight while drying
