Wet your hair slightly if the cap is silicone or latex
Tie long hair into a low bun or braid
Place both hands inside the cap
Stretch the cap open with your fingers
Put the front edge on your forehead first
Pull the cap over the back of your head
Tuck all hair inside the cap
Smooth out wrinkles and air pockets
Adjust the cap so it sits snugly above your ears
Make sure the cap covers your hairline
Check that it feels secure but not too tight
