Turn on the device you want to control
Insert fresh batteries into the Philips universal remote
Press and hold the Setup or Code Search button until the red light stays on
Press the device button for the device you want to program
Enter the correct 4-digit code for your device using the number buttons
Wait for the red light to turn off
Test the remote functions
If the remote does not work, repeat the steps with a different code
If no code works, use the code search method
Press and hold Setup or Code Search until the red light stays on
Press the device button again
Press Power or Channel Up repeatedly until the device responds
Press Enter or OK to save the code
Test the remote again
Repeat for each device you want to program
