Use built-in system audio recording tools if available
On Windows, enable Stereo Mix or use Xbox Game Bar
On Mac, use QuickTime Player with an audio routing tool
Install a virtual audio cable or loopback device if needed
Set the computer audio output to the virtual input device
Open your recording software and select the virtual device as the input
Start playback of the sound you want to capture
Start recording in the software
Stop recording when finished
Save the recording in your preferred format
Check system sound settings if no audio is captured
Test with a short recording before doing a full session
