Park the vehicle on a level surface facing a wall
Turn on the low beams
Mark the center point of each headlight beam on the wall
Measure the headlight height from the ground
Mark the correct aiming height on the wall
Open the hood
Locate the headlight adjustment screws or gears
Adjust the vertical aim until the beam cutoff matches the marked height
Adjust the horizontal aim so the beams point straight ahead
Repeat for both headlights
Check the alignment from the driver’s seat
Test the headlights on a dark road
Make small final adjustments if needed
