Unplug the grinder
Remove the hopper, lid, and any detachable parts
Empty out all coffee beans and grounds
Brush out loose grounds from the burrs or blades
Wipe the inside with a dry microfiber cloth
Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water if the manufacturer allows it
Rinse and dry all washed parts completely
Use grinder cleaning tablets if recommended for your grinder type
Reassemble the grinder only after all parts are fully dry
Run a small amount of coffee beans through the grinder to remove any residue
Clean the grinder regularly to prevent buildup
