Acceleration is the slope of a velocity-time graph
Use the formula: acceleration = change in velocity ÷ change in time
Find two points on the graph
Subtract the initial velocity from the final velocity
Subtract the initial time from the final time
Divide the change in velocity by the change in time
For a straight line, the acceleration is constant
For a curved line, the acceleration changes at different points
A horizontal line means acceleration is zero
A positive slope means positive acceleration
A negative slope means negative acceleration
