Open the Settings app
Tap General
Tap About
Find the Model Name and Model Number
Check the back of the iPhone for the model number if needed
Compare the model number with Apple’s iPhone model list
Look in the SIM tray or original box for the model number if available
Use the Apple Support app or Apple ID device list to view the device model
