Use the Netflix app for Windows, not a web browser
Use a device and audio setup that supports surround sound
Connect your PC to a surround sound receiver, soundbar, or HDMI audio system
Set Windows sound output to the correct surround-capable device
In Windows sound settings, configure the speaker setup to 5.1 or 7.1 if available
Make sure your HDMI cable and audio device support Dolby Digital Plus or other surround formats
Open Netflix and play a title that includes the 5.1 or Dolby Atmos badge
Select the audio track labeled 5.1, Dolby Digital Plus, or Atmos if available
Update your audio drivers
Update the Netflix app
Disable browser playback and use the app only
Check that your Netflix plan includes HD or higher if required for the title
Restart the app after changing audio settings
Test with multiple Netflix titles that support surround sound
Verify that your receiver or soundbar is set to the correct input and surround mode
