Unusual aggression or sudden unprovoked attacks
Excessive drooling or foaming at the mouth
Difficulty swallowing
Paralysis or weakness, especially in the hind legs
Staggering, stumbling, or loss of coordination
Acting unusually tame, fearless, or confused
Seizures or tremors
Changes in behavior such as restlessness, agitation, or lethargy
Vocalizing abnormally, such as constant barking, growling, or crying
Self-isolation or hiding
Biting or snapping at objects, people, or other animals
Dilated pupils or abnormal eye movements
Death shortly after symptoms appear
Any wild animal behaving strangely during the day or approaching people
Any animal with a recent bite wound or known exposure to a rabid animal
