Scrape off excess glue gently with a dull knife or spoon

Peel or chip off hardened glue carefully
Test any cleaning method on a hidden area first
Dab the stain with warm water and mild dish soap
Use white vinegar on a cloth to soften dried glue
Apply rubbing alcohol to the glue stain if the fabric is colorfast
Use acetone only on fabrics that are safe for it and never on acetate or delicate synthetics
Wash the fabric after the glue loosens
Repeat treatment before drying if any residue remains
Avoid using heat until the glue is fully removed
Air-dry the fabric and check the stain before putting it in a dryer
