Use a jar or cup and a piece of paper
Place bait such as fruit, sugar water, or vinegar inside
Wait for the fly to land inside or near the container
Quickly cover the opening with the paper
Slide the paper under the container to seal it
Carry the trapped fly outside and release it
Use sticky fly paper near windows or trash areas
Set a simple bottle trap with sweet liquid and a funnel
Keep doors and windows closed when possible
Remove food scraps and clean surfaces to reduce flies
