Blot the stain immediately with a clean paper towel or cloth
Place a paper towel under the stained area
Apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball or cloth
Dab the stain gently; do not rub
Replace the paper towel underneath as ink transfers
Rinse the area with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently work the detergent into the fabric
Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Wash the clothing in cold water
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if the stain remains
Use a stain remover if needed
For stubborn stains, soak in a mixture of water and oxygen bleach
Wash again after soaking
Air dry only after the stain is fully gone
