Fill out the PAN correction/update form online or offline
Select the option for name correction or change
Enter your correct name exactly as per valid proof documents
Upload supporting documents such as marriage certificate, gazette notification, passport, Aadhaar, or other accepted ID proof
Submit the application through the NSDL/Protean or UTIITSL portal, or at a PAN service center
Pay the applicable processing fee
If required, complete Aadhaar authentication or e-sign verification
Send the signed acknowledgment form and documents by post if applying offline or if instructed by the portal
Track the application status using the acknowledgment number
Receive the updated PAN card after verification and approval
