Convert watts to kilowatts by dividing by 1,000
Multiply kilowatts by hours used
Use the formula: kWh = (Watts ÷ 1,000) × Hours
If needed, multiply kWh by the electricity rate to find cost
Example: 100 watts × 10 hours = 1 kWh
