Open the Instagram app or go to instagram.com
Log in to your account
Tap your profile picture
Tap the menu icon
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center
Tap Password and security
Tap Change password
Select your Instagram account
Enter your current password
Enter your new password
Re-enter your new password
Tap Change password or Save
If you forgot your password, tap Forgot password? on the login screen
Follow the reset link sent to your email or phone number
