Turn off the water supply to the sink
Open the faucet to drain any remaining water
Disconnect the supply lines from the faucet
Remove the drain trap and disconnect the drain assembly
Cut any caulk around the sink
Loosen and remove the old sink
Clean the countertop or vanity surface
Check that the new sink fits the opening
Install the faucet and drain onto the new sink
Apply plumber’s putty or sealant as needed
Place the new sink into position
Secure the sink with clips, brackets, or mounting hardware
Reconnect the drain assembly and trap
Reconnect the water supply lines
Turn the water supply back on
Check for leaks at all connections
Apply caulk around the sink edge if needed
Let the caulk cure before using the sink
