Sit on a bed with a pillow behind you and turn your head 45 degrees toward the affected ear
Lie back quickly so your shoulders are on the pillow and your head is slightly tilted back
Hold this position for 30 to 60 seconds
Turn your head 90 degrees to the opposite side without lifting it
Hold this position for 30 to 60 seconds
Roll your body onto the side you are facing so your nose points toward the floor
Hold this position for 30 to 60 seconds
Sit up slowly while keeping your head slightly tucked
Repeat only if instructed by a clinician
Stop if you have severe dizziness, neck pain, or new symptoms
Seek medical care if symptoms persist or worsen
