How to Cook Deer Loin?

Trim off silver skin and excess fat

Pat the deer loin dry

Season with salt and black pepper

Add garlic, rosemary, thyme, or your preferred seasoning

Let it rest at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes

Preheat a skillet, grill, or oven to medium-high heat

Sear the loin on all sides until browned

Reduce heat or transfer to the oven to finish cooking

Cook until the internal temperature reaches 130 to 135°F for medium-rare

Remove from heat and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes

Slice against the grain

Serve immediately
