Open your Google Docs document
Place the cursor where you want the video to appear
Click Insert
Select Drawing
Click New
Click the Image icon
Choose a video thumbnail or screenshot from your computer, Google Drive, or by URL
Click Save and Close
Add the video link in the document text or on the inserted image if needed
Alternatively, paste the video URL directly into the document and press Enter
Use Google Slides if you need to embed a playable video inside a presentation linked from Docs
