Locate the leak by inflating the air bed and listening for escaping air
Apply soapy water to the surface and look for bubbles
Mark the leak spot with a pen or tape
Deflate the air bed completely
Clean and dry the area around the leak
Lightly roughen the surface if required by the patch kit
Cut a patch large enough to cover the hole
Apply adhesive if using a glue-based patch kit
Place the patch firmly over the leak
Press out any air bubbles and smooth the edges
Let the patch cure for the time recommended by the kit
Reinflate the air bed and check for leaks
Repeat the patch if air still escapes
