Gather the button maker, button parts, printed design, scissors, and backing material
Cut the design to the correct size for the button mold
Place the button shell into the first press station
Insert the printed design on top of the shell
Add the clear mylar film over the design if required
Pull the handle to press the layers together
Move the assembled piece to the second press station
Place the pin back or other backing piece into position
Pull the handle again to complete the button
Remove the finished button from the machine
Repeat the process for additional buttons
