Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon or a gift tag
Place the gift in the center of the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it covers the gift with a little overlap
Fold one side of the paper over the gift
Pull the opposite side over and secure it with tape
Fold the ends inward to create neat triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps toward the center
Tape each flap securely
Repeat on the other end of the gift
Add ribbon or a gift tag if desired
