Measure the playing surface width from cushion nose to cushion nose
Measure the table height from the floor to the top of the rail
Measure the overall outside length from end to end
Measure the overall outside width from side to side
Measure the pocket openings if needed
Measure the rail width if needed
Measure the slate thickness if needed
Measure the table diagonally if needed
Use a tape measure for all measurements
Record measurements in inches or centimeters
Check that the table is level before measuring
