Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices
Make sure both devices are close to each other
On iPhone or iPad, open Control Center and enable AirDrop
Set AirDrop to Contacts Only or Everyone for 10 Minutes
Open the app or file you want to share
Tap the Share button
Tap AirDrop
Select the nearby device
On the receiving device, tap Accept
Wait for the file to finish sending
On Mac, open Finder
Click AirDrop in the sidebar
Set “Allow me to be discovered by” to Contacts Only or Everyone
Drag the file onto the recipient’s device in the AirDrop window
On the receiving device, tap Accept
Make sure both devices are signed in to Apple devices if using Contacts Only
Keep devices unlocked during transfer if needed
