How To Bake Butternut Squash?

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)

Wash the butternut squash

Cut off the stem and bottom

Peel the squash

Slice the squash in half lengthwise

Scoop out the seeds

Cut the squash into cubes or leave halves whole

Toss with oil, salt, and any desired seasonings

Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer

Bake cubes for 25 to 35 minutes

Bake halves for 40 to 50 minutes

Flip pieces halfway through baking

Bake until tender and lightly browned

Remove from the oven and serve
