Open the Photos app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Select the picture or pictures you want to remove
Tap or click the Delete button
Confirm deletion
Open the Recently Deleted album
Select the deleted pictures
Tap or click Delete All or Delete
Confirm permanent deletion
If using iCloud Photos, make sure the device is connected to the internet
Repeat the deletion on any other device synced with the same iCloud account if needed
Sign in to iCloud.com
Open Photos
Select the pictures
Click the Delete icon
Open Recently Deleted
Permanently delete the pictures if needed
