Detangle your hair thoroughly
Apply a heat protectant if using hot curlers
Divide hair into small, even sections
Choose the curler size based on the curl you want
Roll each section from the ends toward the roots
Secure each curler in place
Repeat until all hair is curled
Leave the curlers in until curls are set
Remove the curlers gently
Finger-comb or lightly brush the curls
Finish with hairspray if desired
