Install OptiFine for your Minecraft version
Open the OptiFine installer and click Install
Launch Minecraft using the OptiFine profile
Download a shader pack in .zip format
Open Minecraft and go to Options
Click Video Settings
Click Shaders
Click Shaders Folder
Move the shader pack .zip file into the shaders folder
Return to Minecraft
Select the shader pack from the list
Click Done
Adjust shader settings if needed
