Test on a small, inconspicuous area first
Apply a small amount of compound to the pad
Work in small sections
Use a dual-action polisher or rotary buffer
Move the buffer slowly and evenly
Keep the pad flat against the surface
Use light to moderate pressure
Avoid staying too long in one spot
Wipe off residue with a clean microfiber towel
Check your progress after each section
Repeat with a finer polish if needed
Finish with a paint sealant or wax
Clean the pads during and after use
Avoid buffing dirty or hot paint
Wear safety glasses and gloves
