Rinse frozen shrimp under cold running water
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels
Thaw in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours, or place in a bowl of cold water for 15 to 20 minutes
Remove shells and devein if needed
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with oil or butter
Add shrimp in a single layer
Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque
Remove from heat immediately
Season with salt, pepper, garlic, lemon, or other desired seasonings
Serve right away
