Select the text, file, or item you want to copy
Press Ctrl + C
Right-click the selected item and choose Copy
On a touchscreen, tap and hold the item, then tap Copy
To copy a file in Files app, select it and press Ctrl + C
To paste, press Ctrl + V
To cut instead of copy, press Ctrl + X
