Open Telegram and use the search bar
Type the person’s name, username, or phone number
Check the search results under People
Open the correct profile and start a chat
If you know their username, enter it with @
Sync your contacts to find saved phone numbers
Use the Contacts tab to browse your saved contacts
Ask the person to share their Telegram profile link
Search for them in mutual groups or channels
Use the global search to look for public usernames
Make sure they have not hidden their phone number or restricted discoverability
